Your Discover Scuba Diving experience with us will include watching a short video, discussing some basic dive theory with your instructor, introduction to dive equipment and a confined water (pool) session to get you comfortable in the gear.   This usually takes a couple of hours and is done either the day before your ocean dives or in the morning before heading out in the afternoon.

Your two boat dives take you & your Instructor to two different sites on the Ningaloo Reef. These are some of the same dive sites that our certified divers enjoy so you'll know you are getting the best the Ningaloo Reef has to offer.

You'll get the opportunity to explore these dive sites and come across a  wide variety of creatures that can include: turtles, sharks, eels, rays, giant clams, clownfish, many varieties of butterfly & angel fishes, schools of trevally and so much more! If you have certified divers in your group, they can join the same tour and may even be able to dive in your group with you.

We offer Discover Scuba Diving on most days of the week; advance bookings are essential.  Diving medicals are not required to participate unless you have an indicator such as (but not limited to) asthma; if you are unsure, we can send a medical form to you so you can have your doctor check things out before you arrive.

The course is suitable for everyone from 14 years old; those under 18 will need the written approval of a parent/guardian. You do need to have basic swimming ability.
